I grew up in Tremonton, Utah where the outdoors shaped my life from an early age. My biggest passion was fly fishing with my grandpa Tip, spending endless days on the water learning the art of the perfect cast. When I wasn’t fishing, I filled my time with trapping, bird hunting, and sports, making the most of every season.

Everything changed when I was 13. On a hunting trip in Southern Utah with my oldest brother, I harvested my first old mule deer. In that moment, my passion shifted forever. The thrill of the hunt, the challenge, and the connection to the land sparked something in me that only grew stronger with time. Now, the outdoors isn’t just a hobby, it’s a way of life. Whether I’m chasing big game, casting a fly, or exploring new country, the wild places of the West and beyond continue to fuel my passion and shape who I am.

After harvesting my first mule deer, I was fortunate to pursue my passion across Alaska, Canada, the western United States, and Mexico. For the past six years, I’ve had the privilege of working as a hunting guide in the incredible state of Idaho, helping others experience the thrill of the hunt.

My transition to Huntin' Fool came when my beautiful wife shared the news that we were expecting our second child. The old saying, “You can take the boy out of the country, but you can’t take the country out of the boy,” rang true for me. Now, I have the best of both worlds - I get to spend more time with my family, hunt for myself more often, and help people all over the world find their dream hunts. Nothing is more rewarding than sharing the passion that has shaped my life.

My goal at Huntin' Fool is to build a tight-knit community of hunters who know they can trust me to find their dream hunt. I take pride in helping others experience the adventures they’ve always imagined, and I get to live vicariously through their stories when they call after the hunt. At the same time, I want to be constantly immersing myself in the hunting world, learning, exploring, and embracing every new adventure that comes my way.
