The Wyoming native with a deep passion for big game hunting, began the journey 25 years ago in Lander, Wyoming. Guiding started informally by taking friends and family on hunts, quickly revealing a strong enthusiasm for sharing hunting knowledge. In 2017, professional guiding began with local outfitters in Cody, WY, leading to the establishment of a personal outfitting business in 2021.
HUNT DETAILS:
Region F near Cody, Wyoming is habitat to rocky mountain Mule Deer. This is not tree stand hunt, this is a traditional spot and stock style hunt. The hunt will be a mixture of horseback and hiking, these mule deer hunts can be very demanding and good physical condition will be in your best interest if you want to harvest an older mature mule deer buck. These deer are moving out of the high country so you will spend a lot of time glassing major migration trails. This is a great hunt for 150-160 bucks with potential for 170+.
ACCOMMODATIONS:
This hunt features a 5-day, lodge-based wilderness adventure conducted on horseback, with a 2:1 hunter-to-guide ratio. It is traditionally scheduled for the first week of November, offering a classic western hunting experience.
