With seasoned, dedicated guides, outstanding horses, and high-quality equipment, this outfitter focuses on quality over quantity—putting the client experience at the heart of every hunt.
HUNT DETAILS:
Ride into the heart of elk country in Wyoming's wilderness to experience a hunt of a lifetime. This is a premier wilderness, muleback hunt, that will meet every elk hunter’s expectation’s whether it be an archery or rifle hunt. Since this is a wilderness hunt, all non-resident hunters must be accompanied by a guide during the fully duration of their hunt.
Hunters will stay in Dubois the night prior to the start of the hunt and meet with the guides the following morning and follow them to the trailhead approximately an hour from town. From the trailhead, it is a three-hour ride into the two base camps. From base camp you will ride out daily to different hunting locations. We do recommend that hunters be in good physical condition and have good shooting capabilities.
ACCOMMODATIONS:
The main camps are made up of a cook tent and wall tents that are equipped with cots for each hunter.
LICENSE INFORMATION:
Licenses for all seasons and hunts in Wyoming are allocated through the state draw. Each unit and season require different numbers of preference points to draw a license. Huntin' Fool License Application Service will help you apply at the time of application.
