ABOUT OUTFITTER:
This HFA Endorsed Outfitter first obtained his guides license in Wyoming in 2000. Since then he has guided for other outfitters throughout the years doing wilderness horseback hunts, to hunting the prairies for deer and antelope. After the fall of 2020 he decided to pursue getting his outfitters license and starting his own business. Now, they have secured several great permits and private ranches in northwestern Wyoming and provide incredible hunts for each of their clients!

HUNT DETAILS:
For those wanting a true archery elk hunt this hunt is for you. With great elk numbers and well managed private land, these archery elk hunts have high success rates with high rutting activity, so you can expect to see lots of elk. These hunts are done from 4wd vehicles and on foot calling or sitting active water holes. They run over a 70% success and constantly kill bulls in the 300-330 range with the biggest ever taken on the ranch scoring over 370! All hunts are 1x1 and you can expect to be into elk everyday!

ACCOMMODATIONS:
This hunt takes place in Area 34 located in the Southern end of Bighorn Mountains on over 10,000 acres of private land. They have 2 different camps that they hunt out of with rustic, yet comfortable accommodations for their hunters to stay in, and home cooked meals made by their guides. Don’t let that scare you, their guides are well seasoned in the art of camp cooking. (translation: you’re going to eat well!) Lunches are provided at the cabin or in the field given the hunting situations for the day. Plenty of snacks and drinks are provided throughout the day as each guide carries a cooler in their rig. Both camps sit at just over 8,000' elevation and are accessible with 4WD vehicles.

LICENSE INFORMATION:
Licenses for all seasons and hunts in Wyoming are allocated through the state draw. Each unit and season require different numbers of preference points to draw a license. Huntin' Fool License Application Service will help you apply at the time of application.
