If you’re after a giant Canadian Moose, this outfitter is one of the best choices out there. With multiple successful hunts under the belt, the HFA team stands behind this outfitter 100% as an HFA Endorsed Outfitter. If you want to chase trophy moose in some of the most pristine wilderness BC has to offer, this is your chance!

Combining two of British Columbia’s premier guide territories, this outfitter presents a one-of-a-kind opportunity with over 50 years of experience. The hunting grounds span both sides of a world-renowned river, providing pristine wilderness habitats that support thriving game populations. With both Pacific and Arctic watersheds, the area offers world-class hunting and fishing. This family-owned operation remains deeply involved in every aspect of the business, with all members working year-round to ensure the highest level of service and expertise.

HUNT DETAILS:
The majority of the moose hunting takes place in breathtaking alpine country, where expansive meadows line rivers and a network of pristine lakes creates the perfect backdrop. They’ve got satellite camps strategically placed on the lakes, allowing hunters to spike out and navigate these areas at the prime times of day—early morning and evening—when moose are most active. The area features multiple river systems and trails, while a network of lakes can be reached by floatplane. Each camp is equipped with a string of calm, sure-footed horses—well-trained mountain animals that provide reliable transportation to nearby plateaus and mountain ranges.

For those who crave a more adventurous challenge, the outfitter offers horseback hunts at higher elevations, above timberline, where you’ll track moose across vast meadows of arctic birch and willows. The terrain is perfect for horses, making it ideal for traversing long distances and spotting animals at great range. With a 90-95% success rate on moose, their consistency is unparalleled.

They also offer 2-on-1 moose-only hunts at a special camp located on the shores of one of the main rivers. This hunt is perfect for hunters who may have physical limitations, as it includes river boats for easy access. It’s an ideal option for those looking for a more comfortable experience, but still wanting to hunt the biggest bulls.
