TRIP DETAILS:
Lake Iliamna, located in the Bristol Bay watershed, is home to the world’s largest sockeye and king salmon runs. As Alaska’s largest freshwater lake and one of North America’s largest, it rivals the Great Lakes in size.
Anglers of all skill levels will find an unforgettable experience at this lodge, where expert guides and attentive staff ensure a seamless fishing adventure. Throughout the summer, salmon species are abundant, with peak overlaps occurring from mid to late July. Trophy Rainbows, Arctic Grayling, Northern Pike, Arctic Char/Dolly Varden, and Lake Trout are available all season. The lodge utilizes boats, aircraft, and 4WD vehicles to transport guests to prime fishing locations based on species, season, and drainage.
Bordered by Katmai and Lake Clark National Parks, the area offers unmatched wildlife viewing. Coastal grizzlies, moose, caribou, Dall sheep, wolves, and wolverines roam freely, while the rare freshwater seals of Lake Iliamna provide a unique wildlife spectacle.
