This outfitter and his guides scout year-round, ensuring they’re always familiar with the latest elk activity and conditions in units 15, 16A, 16B, 16D, and 23. Whether you’re hunting 1x1 or 2x1, their extensive preparation makes for a more successful and personalized experience. From pre-dawn glassing to tracking fresh sign, their knowledge of the terrain and elk behavior is second to none. Hunters stay in a comfortable wall tent camp set in the heart of elk country, offering a true backcountry experience without sacrificing the essentials. Tents are spacious and outfitted with cots and heat for chilly mornings. After long days in the field, guests return to hearty, home-cooked meals served in camp. It's a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere where hunters can unwind, swap stories, and prepare for the next day’s adventure in the wilds of the Gila.
LICENSE INFORMATION:
New Mexico's big game draw operates on a random selection basis without preference or bonus points. Applications are randomly assigned sequence numbers, and licenses are allocated based on these numbers, with a minimum of 84% of licenses awarded to residents, 10% to non-residents applying with an outfitter, and 6% to non-residents applying without an outfitter.
