Description
This outfitter has been in business going on 40 years. With approximately 100,000 acres of hunting land, they boast a tremendous population of Whitetail, and this particular area of Texas is game-rich!
The free-ranging/low fenced Whitetail will average in score between 120” and 140”, although many larger ones have been harvested. Their success rate has been an incredible 100% since 1996. By game-managing their deer they are able to produce quality hunts each year. That, in part, has led to their success rate. There are no trophy fees.
All of their packages include meals, lodging, 4 full days of hunting, either fully or semi-guided (there is no extra charge for 1x1, nor do they charge a "rental fee" for stand or equipment usage), care of game, mount preparation and delivery to their local taxidermist, etc. You bring your weapon and personal hunting gear and they handle the rest. If you want your taxidermist to mount your animal then you will need to make arrangements prior to your departure to have it shipped to yourself if you are flying.
If you do choose to fly, you may opt to have them pick you up at the rate of $250 per vehicle per round-trip. However, due to the distance from the airport to their ranches, they do ask that you arrive AND depart between the hours of 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. If that’s not possible then you will need to make plans to rent a vehicle. A map to the ranch will be provided at your request.
You need to plan on arriving the day prior to your hunt and then depart on the day after your hunt concludes. Non-hunters are welcome, as are women and children, but this is based on space availability. The price for non-hunters is $100 per day for children under 12 and $150 per day for those over 12. Non-hunters are also welcomed to accompany you on your hunt or they may sit in their own blind, again based on availability.
Whether you like to spot and stalk, sit in a blind, or have someone rattle horns, this hunt offers it all.
