HUNT DETAILS:
Step into the heart of South Baja’s wild desert and experience an authentic, fair-chase hunt for the elusive Weemsi Desert Bighorn Sheep. This fully guided 10-day adventure takes place across over 700,000 acres of exclusive private concession land, offering some of the best sheep country in North America—completely free of public pressure.

This is a rare opportunity to pursue one of North America's most iconic big game trophies in a stunning and biologically rich setting. Limited tags available—book early to secure your preferred dates.

This hunt is ideal for serious hunters seeking a world-class trophy and a true connection to the land. The terrain ranges from sea level to 1,000 feet in elevation, with crisp morning temperatures in the low 30s and daytime highs reaching into the 90s. Hunters can expect to encounter 5–10 sheep daily, with mature rams typically scoring between 155" and 175". Success rates average 95%.

Arrival is simple and direct through either La Paz International Airport (LAP) or Los Cabos (SJD), followed by ground transportation into the remote desert camp. Accommodations include modest yet comfortable cabins equipped with full bathrooms, solar energy, running water, WiFi, and all the amenities needed for a restful stay. A spike camp may be used if necessary to reach ideal hunting zones.

Each day begins with an early breakfast, followed by glassing dramatic desert ridgelines and stalking rams on foot once a quality animal is spotted. Meals include fresh, locally prepared dishes—fruit, eggs, and coffee in the morning; field lunches; and hearty dinners featuring meat, chicken, or fish after a long day on the mountain.

This hunt is limited to one or two hunters in camp at a time, offering a personalized experience guided by knowledgeable local professionals. Expect moderate physical difficulty, with stalks typically ranging from 70–90 yards and shot distances from 250–400 yards.

Once a ram is harvested—usually within 3–6 days—departure is arranged at the hunter’s convenience, whether returning directly to the airport or choosing to relax post-hunt in La Paz or Los Cabos. Meat cannot be exported and is respectfully distributed among the guides and local staff. Trophy export is managed through CITES and typically takes 6–8 months.
