Description
Tres Ritos Ranch, (TRR- AKA Waltrip Ranch) is a 3,100 acre ranch located in northern Taos County, NM which has been owned and game managed by the Waltrip family for over 40 years. TRR offers quality ranch only bull elk hunts in Unit 53 with a hunter friendly environment. One of it's main attributes is that TRR is contiguous to Carson National Forest and Latir Peaks Wilderness Area. This allows TRR to provide additional resources not found on federal lands for many animals inside of their boundaries.
Nevertheless, for 2023, we currently have a limited number of bull elk authorizations available for sale. FYI, to follow is some basic information about the ranch ; Currently, 3 group hunters may choose 5 consecutive days per unguided hunt from late October thru early December (subject to availability)
