Description
An Alaska backcountry adventure for moose and brown bears. This remote portion of unit 19 holds a healthy population of moose and brown bears for the those seeking the backcountry experience. From the time your float plane leaves Anchorage until your return, you will be 1X1 with your guide in the Alaska backcountry pursuing moose and bears. Guest hunters are expected to be in good condition as you will cover plenty of ground over the course of your 13 day hunt. Previous hunters have experienced 75% success on both moose and brown bears with the occassional wolf or wolverine added to the bag. The outfitter welcomes firearm and archery hunters ont he expedition so the choice is yours. Hunt dates are 1-13 September.
Hunt prices cover one bear and one moose.
Hunters will pay a $1000 charter fee to assist in offsetting the cost of flights.
Wolf and wolverine can be harvested for a trophy fee of $1000 each.
