Description
ABOUT OUTFITTER:
This HFA Endorsed Outfitter was born and raised in Northern California and has been hunting Columbia Blacktail Deer and Wild Pigs since he could walk. After running a successful outfit in Southwest Colorado for years, they are now exclusively operating in California in pursuit of Columbia Blacktail Deer, Wild Pigs, Black Bear, and Tule Elk.
HUNT DETAILS:
The private land hunts are on amazing properties that are owner-operated, as well as leased properties. They have created life-long relationships with resident ranches, and combined with their own properties they have compiled some of the best hunting terrain that exists in Northern California. These hunts will be set up as western-style camp on the ranches, and the hunters should expect multiple encounters with game on a daily basis.
For public land hunts, the Mendocino National Forest offers some of the most remote and challenging backcountry hunting experiences in the Western United States. This outfitter is no stranger to that country and is ready for any client that is up for it. They have mastered each hunting application through years of experience and are confident in their ability to produce results!
The outfitter states that their properties boast world class views and even more importantly… world class game! If Columbia Blacktail is on your list, this opportunity should find its way to the top of your list!
ACCOMMODATIONS:
Hunting camp can expected to be more of a mobile setup. The style of the hunt will depend on different factors that play into the overall experience such as the time of year, hunter’s capabilities, type of tackle, etc.
LICENSE INFORMATION:
They are offering fully guided and outfitted hunts on both private and public lands in both A & B-Zones. You don’t have to draw a tag to hunt with this outfitter. The majority of their properties can be hunted with over-the-counter (OTC) tags. They do also have some quota areas in the B-Zone that would require successfully drawing a tag through California’s draw system. So if you’ve drawn a B-Zone tag and are looking for a solid outfitter to hunt with, this outfitter should be at the top of your list to consider.
