This HFA Endorsed Outfitter offers fully guided big game hunts for antelope, mule deer, elk, and archery-only whitetail deer in both Colorado and Wyoming. With guiding experience dating back to 1972, this outfitter combines deep knowledge of the terrain with decades of hunting expertise to deliver a successful and enjoyable experience for every hunter.
HUNT DETAILS:
This outfitter has two separate ranches that they are offering DIY Trespass elk hunts. Over the years, hunters have had over 60% success on bulls. These ranches are made up of broken brush country with alfalfa fields that the elk frequent. The outfitter has established blinds and glassing/shooting points that they will show you and recommend the best way to hunt each property. This is a great opportunity hunt for bulls 250-280+.
ACCOMMODATIONS:
The Christmas Tree Ranch offers an expansive 2,800 deeded acres, with access to over 3,000 additional acres of Bureau of Land Management (BLM) land. The 9 Mile Ranch provides 800 deed acres of land. This hunt is unguided and clients will be responsible for meals and lodging.
LICENSE INFORMATION:
Colorado uses a preference point system for drawing licenses in limited units. Each unit and season require a different number of preference points to draw a license with some areas having OTC tags. Huntin' Fool License Application Service will help you apply at the time of application.
