ABOUT OUTFITTER:
This HFA Endorsed Outfitter has been operating in Nevada since 1996. They are no stranger to outfitting and guiding trophy hunts for all species. They have taken multiple record-book trophies in the state. Their guides are Nevada residents and they have been hunting the state their entire lives. They're very well versed in the game, topography, and seeking trophy animals no matter which species they're pursuing. This is a great operation that consists of honest hardworking hunters that, to the best of their abilities try to help each hunter/client attain his or her goal(s). The Huntin' Fool team has hunted lions with this outfitter in the past, and we can personally vouch for this hunt and outfitter experience! They also offer top-notch guided hunts for Elk, Deer, Antelope, Bears, and Bighorn Sheep in Nevada.
HUNT DETAILS:
Nothing will get your heart pumping like seeing a big ole' cat in a tree. There is a lot more that goes into cat hunting than people give credit for. It is one hunt you should really consider doing at least one time in your hunting career. The heart of a hound is something that can't be measured, and the drive and determination they give is something that has to be seen in person. These hunts are conducted in 4x4 vehicles and snowmobiles. Where you will start by cutting roads early in the mornings looking for fresh tracks. Cats like to hunt at night and that is when they are most likely to cross a road. Their guides are trained and knowledgeable, and the request of the outfitter is that you trust your guide and follow his lead. They will do what is best based on their experience and so far it's worked out really well. Layers of warm clothes are a must in the winter. Temperatures can get below 0. Any type of wool is recommended so the moisture doesn't soak into your clothing.

These hunts are set up as a "Guide Service Only". Meals and lodging are not included in most packages, unless otherwise agreed upon.

Mtn. Lion tags are the only over the counter tags that you can buy in Nevada. You are allowed 2 lion tags in a single year and are responsible for the purchase of your tag prior to your hunt.
