Description

This outfitter has been in the business since 1993 and offers hunts in multiple states. This particular Texas opportunity is for free-range whitetail deer. They offer semi-guided hunts as well as fully guided hunts on multiple properties that they manager. Some of their hunts are set up to stay on the actual ranch you will be hunting, while others have great hunting but no accommodations, so the outfitter uses nearby hotels.

Hunters can shoot two deer on their ranches. One management buck and one trophy buck. These whitetails in Southern Texas average 130” and weigh approx. 160 pounds. This package can also be split with another person, but it has to be with a youth hunter (no splits with adults). Kids can hunt when they are 8-years old in Texas. These hunts take place in late November and in December during the rut.

Most of the hunts are spot and stalk, with some of them are setup to hunt out of blinds. They use trucks and jeeps in some applications as well. For hunters that are less mobile, these hunts are a great option as success is achievable by way of navigating the ranches by trucks and jeeps. Once bucks are found, using a spot and stalk method to get within shooting distance seems to do the trick. So between spot-and-stalk and sitting in blinds, each hunter will have opportunities. They also place corn on roads and have feeders in place to attract game.

At no additional cost, all deer hunting clients have the opportunity

This outfitter also hunts year round for exotics, which can be added to any hunt. See below for more information on the species and pricing available.
