HUNT DETAILS:
Whitetail deer in the western Hill Country are a top choice for many Texas big game hunters. These hunts are conducted on a private, low-fence ranch spanning over 12,000 acres of prime free-range Whitetail habitat. They offer an excellent opportunity for both beginner and experienced hunters alike.
The outfitter provides a variety of hunting styles, including traditional blind and feeder setups, as well as exciting rut hunts featuring rattling and spot-and-stalk tactics to target mature Hill Country bucks.
Compared to many of the outfitter’s western hunts, these are less physically demanding, making them accessible to a wider range of hunters. Each hunt is a fully inclusive 4-day package (2 half days and 2 full days), guided on a 2×1 basis, with the option for 1×1 guiding for an additional fee.
ACCOMMODATIONS:
Clients will stay in a local ranch house or a nearby Airbnb close to their hunting location. While accommodations are simple, they provide a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere for guests to relax after a long day in the field. Meals are typically straightforward yet satisfying, usually prepared by the guide. The focus is on providing a hassle-free experience, allowing hunters to enjoy their trip without worrying about lodging or food. Everything is arranged for a smooth and enjoyable stay.
LICENSE INFORMATION:
To hunt Whitetail Deer in Texas, you must have a valid hunting license issued by Texas Parks & Wildlife. Licenses can be purchased over the counter at any retailer selling hunting licenses in Texas or online through the Texas Parks & Wildlife Department website.
