HUNT DETAILS:
These Middle east deer have found refuge around the Texas hill country in the rolling limestone hills, juniper choked and valleys and live oak mots. By escapees from high fence ranches from years past the Axis deer have became a free range hunters off season treat. Hunting them in the main portion of the rut mid May through August the guide can find the majority of mature bucks hard horned and screaming all hours of the day in the usually 100 degree plus degree Fahrenheit heat.

These hunts are spot and stalk glassing and calling these mature bucks. We like to set up these hunts 2 hunters per one guide sense normally there is multiple bucks in one group. Typical shots are 100-300 yards but farther shots to arise. Be able to walk in un even and rocky terrain. Snake gators or snake boots are recommended for these hunts.

ACCOMMODATIONS:
Clients will stay in a local ranch house or a nearby Airbnb close to their hunting location.
