Description
ABOUT OUTFITTER:
This HFA Endorsed Outfitter was born and raised in Southern Utah. They have hunted and covered the entire unit where this hunt is offered, and know it inside and out. They offer hunts for mule deer, elk, mountain lion, and black bear in Southern Utah, covering multiple other units as well.
HUNT DETAILS:
This particular hunt is for mule deer on the Pine Valley general season unit. As you can see in the pictures, they have been very successful in the past. Depending on where you’re hunting in the unit, the outfitter may use vehicles, ATV’s, UTV’s, horses, and/or hiking. Most of the hunting will be spot and stalk, and blinds and tree-stands may be used as well.
They offer hunts for all seasons, including Archery, Rifle, and Muzzleloader. The season’s vary, so make sure and coordinate with us so that we can ensure that you are applied for the correct season and unit.
ACCOMMODATIONS:
This outfitter has a great lodge, sitting on private land, with access to agriculture when and if needed. The unit is large, and the terrain varies from Pines and quickies on the top of the mountain down to high desert, cedar and sage, brush, mountains, and hills. Later in the season, hunts may take you down to the desert floor as deer shift their patterns. The key is to trust this experienced outfitter—they spend time in the field year-round pursuing a variety of species and know exactly where to locate game when conditions change.
LICENSE INFORMATION:
Utah has bonus and preference point systems for limited-entry species and general season deer. Bonus points increase draw chances, while preference points favor applicants with the most points. Group applicants’ points are averaged. Unsuccessful applicants get a point annually, and points are species-specific, non-transferable, and can be purchased. Huntin’ Fool’s License Application team will help you apply at the time of application.
