ABOUT OUTFITTER
This HFA Endorsed Outfitter brings firsthand, advisor-level experience to the table, ensuring this hunt delivers the opportunity you're seeking. With access to nearly 20,000 acres of private land spread across multiple ranches—home to strong resident elk populations and excellent bull-to-cow ratios—this hunt has consistently provided a 90% shot opportunity for hunters over the past decade.
HUNT DETAILS:
Peak physical fitness isn’t required for this hunt, as the terrain varies from high, timbered mountains to gently rolling hills and juniper flats. Each morning and evening, you'll glass from elevated vantage points in search of a mature bull. Offered exclusively as a 2x1 guided experience, these hunts are limited to just 4–6 hunters per season, ensuring low hunting pressure and excellent opportunities to spot game throughout the day.
While bulls exceeding 350 inches are harvested annually, this hunt primarily targets bulls in the 280–315 class range.
ACCOMMODATIONS:
Accommodations include a well-maintained ranch house featuring three comfortable bedrooms and private bathrooms. All meals are served family-style and freshly prepared by the on-site cook, offering a warm, home-cooked dining experience throughout your stay.
LICENSE INFORMATION:
Colorado uses a preference point system for drawing licenses in limited units. Each unit and season require a different number of preference points to draw a license with some areas having OTC tags. Huntin' Fool License Application Service will help you apply at the time of application.
