Southeast Idaho Guided Elk Hunts

This specific area of Idaho has an average elk population overall. This unit has lots of access and is moderate for hiking. The outfitter is very good at glassing and planning a stalk during this season. There are a few areas that they can get deeper into the woods and it's more physically demanding. You can expect to see bulls bulls that average 250"-280", with a few in the 300" range. They do have elk over the 300" mark, but this is not a trophy area.

Being in shape will increase your chances of success. They offer a back country archery hunt and you will be required to supply your own sleeping bag, air pad and lighting. They provide transportation, lodging and meals during this hunt. Rifle hunts typically stay in housing during hunt with full time cook on hand.

The guides for these hunts are seasoned elk hunters that have hunted with archery, muzzleloader, and rifle equipment their entire lives. They have experienced countless successful personal hunts, as well as hunts with clients. You can rest assured that you will maximize your time in the field making every minute count.

Hunters can expect to stay at a local ranch house that's located in the unit and hunt area. Hunts include lodging, meals, guide, and transportation during the hunt.
