Description

ABOUT OUTFITTER:
This HFA Endorsed Outfitter has been immersed in the hunting industry for as long as he can remember. Raised on a family ranch, he spent much of his childhood in his father’s hunting camps, where their passion for the outdoors and conservation took root. As a teenager, that passion evolved into a deep appreciation for the challenges of the hunt, teaching him the value of patience, perseverance, and responsible stewardship of the land and wildlife. While his true passion lies in hunting giant mule deer, he also offers fully guided hunts for elk, bear, moose, bighorn sheep, pronghorn, and mountain lion.

HUNT DETAILS:
Mule deer hunting in Colorado is a premier experience, offering hunters the chance to pursue trophy bucks in some of the most breathtaking landscapes in the West. With diverse terrain ranging from high alpine basins to rolling sagebrush and pinion-covered hills, Colorado provides excellent mule deer habitat.

Archery, muzzleloader, and rifle seasons provide hunters with diverse opportunities, with spot-and-stalk being the primary method used by this Endorsed Outfitter. Success comes from thorough scouting, patience, and a deep understanding of mule deer behavior, all of which are key components of the guided hunts offered.

ACCOMMODATIONS:
This outfitter offers two hunting options tailored to different preferences. The Guide-Only option allows hunters to arrange their own meals and lodging, with the outfitter providing recommendations on suitable accommodations. For those looking for a fully immersive experience, the Fully Outfitted hunts include lodging, whether in a comfortable hotel or a well-equipped camp. Regardless of the option chosen, hunters can expect expert guidance, access to prime hunting areas, and an unforgettable adventure in Colorado’s diverse and rugged landscapes.

LICENSE INFORMATION:
There are a few ways to obtain a mule deer tag in Colorado. The primary method is through the state draw system, where hunters apply for specific units, which vary greatly in the preference points needed to draw a tag. Another option is to purchase a landowner tag, allowing hunters to bypass the draw and hunt in designated areas.
