These hunts are organized into spring and fall hunts, each offering a unique experience
Unit 4 hunts are conducted on Chichagof Island which has one of the highest brown bear populations in the world. Spring hunts are lodge based. The outfitter uses boats to hunt the many miles of coastline. In the spring, the bears are concentrated on the beaches and grass flats. Spot and stalk hunting with many opportunities to pursue old mature boars. Bow hunters welcome.
Fall hunts are boat-based where the outfitter concentrates their hunt on the many salmon streams in the area. Still hunting up salmon streams is an adventured-filled hunt with a lot of close encounters. This is also a great hunt for bowhunters.
NOTE: The outfitter is a second generation commercial fisherman and is a Registered Hunting Guide.
