ABOUT OUTFITTER:
This outfitter has been in business since 2008, and with over 90 years of combined Kansas turkey hunting experience, their team possesses extensive knowledge and expertise in guided hunts. The outfitter’s family has resided in the area for over a century, with some of the hunting properties remaining in the family for more than 120 years. This outfitter in Kansas offers premier whitetail deer and Rio Grande turkey hunts on agricultural and cattle ranch lands. To ensure sustainable hunting and maintain the quality of game populations, the outfitter provides a limited number of hunts each year. Hunters are accommodated in a restored 1900s farmhouse located on a working farm and cattle ranch, offering an authentic hunting experience. Their hunting units in Kansas are located in units 2 & 5.

HUNT DETAILS:
Their Kansas turkey-hunting prices are based upon 3 days of turkey hunting, 4 nights of lodging, & expecting the turkey hunter to kill one mature Tom Rio Grande turkeys. Hunts can be anything from spot & stalk to sitting in a ground blind to calling in those thunder chickens. Spinning feeders filled with corn are placed out on a few of properties to keep the Rio Grande turkeys in the area. Their turkey hunts occur in units 2 & 5 of Kansas. All hunters are lodged privately on their working farm & cattle ranch. At the farm you can then share stories of your stories of turkey hunt. Sandhill pastures & fertile farm land with a mix of trees & rolling hills with plenty of food with rich nutrients creates an ideal habitat for the Rio Grande turkey on their farm. With 100 year cottonwoods established on the farm land it provides an ideal roosting spot for the Rio Grande turkeys. With minimal hunting pressure, and large fields with a varying terrain provide the perfect combination for a successful Kansas turkey hunt.

ACCOMMODATIONS:
All hunters are lodged privately for their turkey hunt on their working farm, and cattle ranch. It is a 1900's farm house that has been in the family for many generations. This is the ideal place to brag about your turkey hunt with the guests. All hunters are treated to one home cooked meal in the evening. It is a quiet, clean, and a comfortable place to rest.

LICENSE INFORMATION:
Non-residents must apply for Spring Turkey Permits through a lottery draw system for Units 2 & 5. The application period typically runs from early January to early February. For example, the 2024 application period was from January 9 to February 9.

A nonrefundable application fee applies at the time of application. Successful applicants are then charged the remaining permit fee.
