Here on the south end of Kodiak you will traverse the mountains, valleys, and beaches in search of Sitka Blacktails. Hunters should expect to look over a few bucks and find a solid mature animal. For those seeking the "stag" bucks, this end of the island tends to produce a good number compared to other parts of the island.
If you are also in search of Mountain Goats you may want to consider a combo. Many color phase fox also reside on the island and hunter are welcome to harvest one if you get a chance.
