HUNT DETAILS:
They conduct hunts on private ranches in southern Colorado, spanning approximately 30,000 acres of private land and 70,000 acres of public land. Guides pick up hunters before sunrise to travel to the hunting location. The terrain varies from open meadows to dense oak brush hills and steep timbered areas. The primary goal is to locate and harvest mature bulls measuring around 300", with potential for 350"+. Hunters should be physically prepared for walking, kneeling, and sitting. Typical shot ranges are 200-500 yards . Fully guided hunts include meals and lodging, transportation during the hunt, professional trophy photos, trophy caping, packing out your animal, and recommendations for game processors and taxidermists.

ACCOMMODATIONS:
A 3-level home that offers great views from the front porch. Upon entering, you're greeted by a cozy seating area that leads into the dining space, next to a wood-burning stove and a full kitchen. The home is within walking distance of local shops and restaurants. Enjoy hiking the nearby trails or visiting local lakes. It’s just 15 minutes from Cuchara, home to the stunning Spanish Peak Mountains. The house features 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a complete basement, Wi-Fi, and an entertainment area in the basement.

LICENSE PROCESS:
Licenses for second season, and third season rifle in Colorado are available over-the-counter. The state uses a preference point system to allocate archery, muzzleloader, first rifle, and late rifle licenses in limited units. Each unit and season require different numbers of preference points to draw a license. Huntin' Fool License Application Service will help you apply at the time of application.
