Description

Vancouver Island is famous for having the purest strain of Roosevelt elk in North America. It is definitely the largest in the elk family. They can reach up to 500 kg and live approximately 12-15 years.

The method used to harvest these magnificent creatures is typically spot and stock. Hunting from 4x4 trucks and quads and glassing old and new clear-cuts makes this an exciting hunt for all ages.

There are some magnificent bulls in this outfitter's region. They have an exciting archery hunt and offer a few hunts with a rifle. With an abundance of elk, seeing or harvesting a Boone and Crockett Roosevelt is likely.
