This hunt is in unit 57 in New Mexico for private land mule deer on 20,000 private acres. It
is a 5-day hunt that includes meals and lodging at the outfitter's ranch house in Folsom, New Mexico. Tags are available over-the-counter. The muzzleloader season is September 27-October 3, and the rifle season is October 24-28.
Mature bucks will be in the 145-165" range. These are low pressured deer in moderate terrain that is accessible and not too physically challenging. This is a good opportunity hunt to take a fair chase high desert mule deer.
