Description
This outfitter's private land elk hunts are conducted on selected ranches in southcentral New Mexico. They has secured exclusive hunting rights on the best private land elk hunting ranches in New Mexico. The ranches are in unit 37, which is known for its world-class bulls. The area is not known for high populations of elk, but it is noted for producing top end bulls with great mass. These combined ranches total about 70,000 acres that lies in the foothills of the Capitan Mountains in southcentral New Mexico. The elevation ranges from 6,000 feet to almost 8,000 feet. The terrain is mostly rolling hills with canyons covered by juniper and pinyon pine mixed with some grassy flats. The terrain is mostly moderate with some steep, more extreme areas. Overall, these ranches combined have plenty of roads to access most of the hunting country, so they can accommodate hunters from all levels of fitness. Rifle: 5 days, Archery: 6 days
