Nevada is home to some of the finest Desert Bighorn Sheep hunting in the West. This outfitter conducts 60–75 hunts annually across all species, consistently maintaining an impressive 95–100% success rate. Their experienced guides dedicate countless hours to scouting for top-end bucks, bulls, and rams, ensuring each client has the best possible opportunity to harvest a true trophy.

With five Forest Service permits in hand, the outfitter has access not only to Public and BLM lands but also to designated Forest Service areas—an advantage that sets them apart from many others by greatly expanding the terrain available for hunting.

When it comes to Desert Bighorn Sheep specifically, this outfitter has achieved a 100% success rate on all hunts. They offer both 7-day and 10-day options tailored to your schedule and goals. Nevada leads the nation in non-resident Desert Sheep tag allocations, issuing more tags than all other states combined. It’s also the only state where hunters can apply for all three North American sheep species in the same year.

They pursue Nevada’s iconic state animal—the Nelson Desert Bighorn—in several southern units and central regions, including Nye County. ACCOMMODATIONS:

LICENSE INFORMATION:
In Nevada, you earn one bonus point per species each year you're unsuccessful in the draw and purchase a hunting license. Points are squared to determine your chances in the draw. The maximum is 32 points per species. Missing two consecutive years means losing all bonus points for that species.
