Description
This Utah hunting ranch offers private land guided Mule Deer Hunts. This is an exclusive big game hunt for archery, muzzleloader, and rifle hunting enthusiasts who are looking to be the only hunters on 15,000 acres of prime Hunting in Utah land in the Northwestern region of Utah. The outfitter insists on operating on a one-on-one Hunter to Hunting Guide ratio to ensure personal attention and happy hunters. Two-on-one hunts are also available.
Since your accommodations include a private ranch house on the property, there is no motel to travel to and from. Be prepared to hunt the abundant resident wildlife populations when you and your guide step out the front door. Your hunting guide is there to direct you into the company of wildlife to accelerate your Utah hunting experience. While hunting on the ranch, you might leave on foot, 4×4, or ATV or UTV.
The ranch has an incredible population of mule deer and hunters can expect to see 50-100 deer every day on average, and between 10-20 bucks each day. The timber on top as well as the aspen is where you will almost always find the elk. There is a roadless area in the south end of the property that is also good elk hunting. Hunters can be selective while hunting on this ranch. The ranch is used for cattle grazing and cattle will be present on the ranch through September. Over the past 15 years, hunters have averaged bucks ranging from 130” to 170”+ bucks. As in most mule deer areas, larger bucks have also been harvested. The average mature buck taken ranges from 22”-26” inches wide with 4-points on each side.
Home-cooked meals are prepared for you by locals that live in the area. The outfitter provides full meals every day of your hunt—morning, noon, and night.
