Description

The HFA team has worked with this outfitter for a long time, with multiple clients experiencing great success! This is a 3-day antelope hunt in the Northern region of the Texas panhandle. These hunts are performed on private lands that are exclusively managed by the landowner(s) and the outfitter. These hunts are conducted as a 2 on 1 hunt, and they include lodging and meals.

The Texas Panhandle boasts vast, open landscapes characterized by rolling prairies, grasslands, and scrubby terrain. The scenery alone makes the hunting experience memorable, offering panoramic views and opportunities to immerse oneself in the natural beauty of the region. This hunt involves spot-and-stalk methods, where hunters use binoculars or spotting scopes to locate antelope from a distance before carefully approaching for a shot. This method requires patience, skill, and careful observation, adding an element of excitement to the hunt. This country is known for producing well above average bucks every year, with some exceeding the B&C minimum. The trophy gallery speaks for itself.

As you set out on your hunt, you'll be greeted by the sight of majestic antelope grazing against the backdrop of endless blue skies. With keen eyesight and lightning-fast speed, these creatures provide a thrilling challenge for even the most seasoned hunters. Picture yourself amidst sweeping grasslands, rolling hills, and vast open plains stretching as far as the eye can see.

Antelope hunting seasons in Texas typically occur in the fall, usually starting in October and running through December. However, it's crucial to check the current regulations as they may vary from year to year.

This outfitter scouts the areas where you will be hunting. They'll be observing their behavior and movement patterns which will improve your chances of a successful hunt. These are experienced guides that will provide valuable insight, that will increase your chances of success, and will ensure a memorable hunting experience. All hunters to date have had the opportunity of harvesting a buck.

As an added bonus to all antelope hunts, you will be able do this as a combo hunt, adding "prairie dogs" at no additional charge. You'll be able to do this either during, and/or after your antelope hunt. Clients thoroughly enjoy this part of the trip, so plan on potentially taking an additional rifle for this.
