HUNT DETAILS:
Unit 51 in northern New Mexico is a great elk hunting destination, featuring diverse terrain and abundant wildlife. Encompassing parts of the Carson National Forest and private lands, it offers mountainous landscapes, dense forests, and open meadows which offers perfect elk habitats. With a strong population of elk, the unit regularly produces 250–300 class bulls. Archery hunts occur in September during the rut, while rifle hunts take place in October and November.
Unit 52 in New Mexico is great elk hunting destination, located in the San Juan Mountains and featuring both public and private lands. Its rugged terrain, dense forests, and high elevations create prime hunting conditions.
