ABOUT OUTFITTER:
This HFA Endorsed Outfitter is a family owned and operated outfitter that's nestled in between the coast mountains and mountain ranges of Northwest British Columbia, Canada. Both the husband and wife work full time in the business, and both provide priceless knowledge and experience. They grew up in B.C. hunting, fishing, wrangling, cooking, and trapping from a very young age. They have been guiding full-time for over 12 years now, and not a day goes by that they aren't sleeping, eating and breathing hunting.
Their guide territory covers 1,500 square miles and produces upper-echelon trophies across the board. Whether you're hunting Mountain Goats in the alpine, or black bears along the coast and mountain benches, this area is one that is sought after by many. With it's breath-taking scenery and abundant wildlife, coupled with a family operation that is a great company all around, this option is one that you should definitely consider.
HUNT DETAILS:
This HFA-endorsed outfitter offers an unforgettable coastal black bear hunt in one of North America's most bear-rich environments. With an abundant population and a history of producing exceptional trophies, this is a top-tier hunt for anyone seeking a massive black bear. Last season, the average bear squared an impressive 6’6”, with daily sightings often reaching double digits. The best recorded day yielded 46 bears spotted!
The hunt is conducted using spot and stalk methods, covering vast, remote terrain by vehicle and glassing from vantage points. Most stalks involve short hikes to prime shooting positions, and many bears are encountered within close range of the vehicle, making this an accessible hunt for all experience levels. With a 100% opportunity rate, most hunters take their bear within the first three days, allowing time to enjoy fishing, crabbing, or shrimping to round out an incredible adventure.
As a bonus, every hunter is able to carry a wolf tag with no additional trophy fee, there's always a chance for an unexpected, high-value harvest!
ACCOMMODATIONS:
This hunt is based out of a comfortable, fully equipped lodge with all the amenities of home, including WiFi, cell service, full bathrooms, and private bedrooms with bedding and towels provided. Hunters can expect home-cooked meals and a warm, welcoming atmosphere, making this hunt as relaxing as it is exciting.
LICENSE INFORMATION:
License can be purchased over the counter and is the client's responsibility.
