ABOUT OUTFITTER:
This HFA Endorsed Outfitter was established in 1990 and has been providing exceptional hunting and fishing experiences ever since. With extensive experience exploring Alaska’s remote landscapes, the outfitter and guides have developed deep knowledge of the state's terrain, fish, and wildlife. Their expertise ensures high-quality, high-success hunts across Alaska. Over the years, their reputation and dedication have transformed many first-time clients, who initially sought a once-in-a-lifetime adventure, into lifelong friends who return year after year.
HUNT DETAILS:
If you're after the biggest grizzly in North America or simply want high odds of success, this HFA Endorsed Outfitter delivers. We chose this outfitter for one reason—exceptional success on massive grizzly bears. It’s rare to find a place where big grizzlies thrive in high numbers, feeding on salmon north of the Arctic Circle, but this outfitter has done just that, securing all necessary permits to hunt across a vast region.
Hunters fly into Kotzebue, Alaska, then take a bush plane into the field, where they settle into their own tent before the hunt begins. While some bears concentrate around salmon streams, many roam the foothills of the Western Brooks Range, feeding on berries or intercepting migrating caribou. These bears grow exceptionally large, and this outfitter consistently takes record-book grizzlies. Hunters can expect a variety of color phases, from dark coffee-colored boars to classic "Toklat" shades.
ACCOMMODATIONS:
Experience comfortable mountain style tent camping while enjoying a mix of freeze-dried meals and minimal fresh foods flown in at the start of your hunt. Camps are designed to provide a dry and efficient base for your Alaskan adventure, ensuring you have the energy and comfort needed to focus on the hunt. Though the setup is simple, it offers all the essentials for a successful and memorable experience in the wilderness. With careful planning and preparation, they ensure your camp meets your needs, combining practicality and comfort to enhance your overall enjoyment of this once-in-a-lifetime outdoor adventure.
LICENSE PROCESS:
An over-the-counter harvest ticket will need to be purchased for this hunt. Your license and tags can be purchased online through the ADFG website at least a month in advance.
