HUNT DETAILS:
New Mexico offers a premier destination for bighorn sheep hunters, with strong, stable populations of both Rocky Mountain and Desert bighorn sheep spread across diverse units. For those lucky enough to beat the draw odds, the state presents a remarkable opportunity to pursue and potentially harvest a trophy-class ram. Current estimates place the population at approximately 1,200 Desert bighorns and 1,800 Rocky Mountain bighorns, making New Mexico a key location for hunters seeking a chance at either—or both—species. This outfitter holds permits for every sheep unit in the state and consistently guides successful hunts for both species each year.

ACCOMMODATIONS:
This is a fully guided, one-on-one, turn-key hunt designed for a stress-free and memorable experience. All meals, lodging, and in-field transportation are included. You'll stay in clean, comfortable accommodations that offer a relaxing place to unwind after a day in the field. Hearty, home-cooked meals are prepared daily to keep you fueled and ready for the hunt.

LICENSE INFORMATION:
New Mexico's big game draw operates on a random selection basis without preference or bonus points. Applications are randomly assigned sequence numbers, and licenses are allocated based on these numbers, with a minimum of 84% of licenses awarded to residents, 10% to non-residents applying with an outfitter, and 6% to non-residents applying without an outfitter. Huntin’ Fool’s License Application team will help you apply at the time of application.
