ABOUT OUTFITTER:
This HFA Endorsed Outfitter is made up of a dedicated team with deep roots in hunting the landscapes of New Mexico and Texas. With years of experience and a true passion for the hunt, they place the highest value on relationships—whether it's with clients, landowners, or anyone who plays a role in the journey. They take pride in delivering a meaningful and well-rounded experience, not just a successful hunt. Operating on both public and private lands across New Mexico and Texas, they offer professionally guided hunts for elk, mule deer, aoudad, and other sought-after game species.

HUNT DETAILS:
For this Mule Deer hunt option, the New Mexico application period typically opens in January and closes in March. The unit hunted by this outfitter spans an area roughly the size of Delaware, with a success rate averaging around 70%. Weather conditions can make this a challenging hunt, and locating mature bucks isn't always easy—but the outfitter’s experienced guides know the terrain inside and out, consistently producing strong results year after year. They focus on bucks scoring over 150", and regularly harvest deer in the 170"+ class annually.

For those seeking guaranteed tags, they also offer private land mule deer hunts. These hunts take place on expansive ranches that provide excellent opportunities for bucks in the 160"+ range, with pricing structured accordingly. Some of these ranches extend into West Texas, where they concentrate on the next tier of trophy bucks—often targeting deer in the 170" range. Their largest harvested buck to date scored an impressive 196".

To get a true sense of the trophy quality they consistently produce, be sure to browse their photo gallery—you just might find yourself booking the hunt of a lifetime.

ACCOMMODATIONS:
Accommodations vary depending on the specific hunt and location, and may include cozy cabins or rustic lodges that offer a warm, comfortable place to relax after a day in the field. In some areas, modern Airbnbs or well-appointed hotels are available, providing added convenience and amenities. For more remote or traditional hunting experiences, you may stay in outfitted campers or classic wall tents, which offer a more immersive feel while still providing the essentials for a good night’s rest.

LICENSE INFORMATION:
New Mexico's big game draw operates on a random selection basis without preference or bonus points. Applications are randomly assigned sequence numbers, and licenses are allocated based on these numbers, with a minimum of 84% of licenses awarded to residents, 10% to non-residents applying with an outfitter, and 6% to non-residents applying without an outfitter. Huntin’ Fool’s License Application team will help you apply at the time of application.
