The rifle hunts are three days long, giving hunters ample opportunity to locate and harvest a trophy-class pronghorn. For archery hunters, the standard season runs for seven days, with the option to extend up to ten days for those wanting to maximize their chances.

LICENSE INFORMATION:
New Mexico's big game draw operates on a random selection basis without preference or bonus points. Applications are randomly assigned sequence numbers, and licenses are allocated based on these numbers, with a minimum of 84% of licenses awarded to residents, 10% to non-residents applying with an outfitter, and 6% to non-residents applying without an outfitter.
