Description
ABOUT OUTFITTER:
This HFA Endorsed Outfitter operates on several private ranches in NE Wyoming. They have permits to hunt on the local National Forest/Grasslands, State and BLM ground but the majority of the hunting is conducted on private ranches that they manage. Offering guided hunts for elk, whitetail and mule deer, antelope, turkey and prairie dogs. Their promise is to give you their best. Their goal is to give you the memories of a lifetime, all while harvesting a mature trophy and having a great time with friends and family in the western expanse of God’s creation.
HUNT DETAILS:
In area 117 they have approximately 20,000 acres of private ranches leased to hunt. This is an area that requires 7+ preference points for a non-resident to draw a tag but that being so, there are some large trophy bulls to be had with low hunting pressure due to a lot of private ground and limited hunters in the area. The terrain is about 4,800ft elevation with deep canyons and Ponderosa pines that come down into hay meadows and creek bottoms that are frequented by the the elk in the mornings and evenings. They have maintained a 100% shot opportunity over the years on 300-330 type bulls.
ACCOMMODATIONS:
These are true fair chase, 100% free-range hunts with no high fences. Each hunt is fully guided and spans 5 days, including lodging, meals, field transportation, and professional field care of your trophy. Not included in the hunt price are travel to camp, license fees, meat processing, taxidermy, and gratuities for your guide and cook.
LICENSE INFORMATION:
Licenses for all seasons and hunts in Wyoming are allocated through the state draw. Each unit and season require different numbers of preference points to draw a license. Huntin' Fool License Application Service will help you apply at the time of application.
