Description
These elk hunt take place on private land just east of Bozeman, MT. The outfitter has access to nearly 14,000 acres of private and holds permits for the state lands. The country you'll hunt is easily accessible and not terribly difficult to navigate with a good road system throughout making it ideal for access and game retrieval. The elevation ranges from 5,600 feet in elevation near the bottom to over 7,500 feet to the upper ridgetops. The thinned timbered draws, sage foothills and mountain parks make for great elk habitat. When the chase is on these hunts can be physically demanding but with good ridges to glass and call from, most days are spent locating a bull before making a stalk. This is a great opportunity hunt for 240" to 300" bulls with a chance and finding one bigger. These fully guided hunts include 5 days of hunting and hunters will stay at a near by Air B&B that has all the amenities you'll need including cell service and WiFi. Home cooked meals will be served each evening with lunches in the field and breakfast before departing on each day’s hunt.
