They offer hunts for elk, mule deer, whitetail deer, mountain lion and black bears. Whether you’re looking for a private ranch hunt or a back-country horseback hunt, they can provide you with a great Montana hunt! Their goal as a premier Montana hunting outfitter is to get hunters in front of the game they seek. They are dedicated to provide the best fair chase hunting experience possible. They do this because of their love of the woods, the excitement of getting their hunters in sight of game and the feeling at the end of each season that they have helped you succeed in a Montana hunt of a lifetime!

HUNT DETAILS:
These bear hunts take place in the spring months of May and June. After the bears emerge from their winter dens they start to feed on the fresh growing green grasses. The main method of hunting these bears is glassing from a high vantage point looking for bears feeding on the south facing slopes and avalanche chutes. Once a suitable bear is spotted you will close the distance to take the shot. They will also still hunt old grassy logging roads and grassy creek bottoms where bears are also known to feed. Shooting distances can range any where from 100 yards to 400 yards.

For the backcountry hunt, you will horseback into camp and from there most of the hunting is done by foot, so it is important that you be in good physical shape as it will increase your odds of being successful.

For the lodge based hunt, you will travel to your hunting area each day, where most hunting will be done on foot, so similar to the backcountry hunts, the success of the hunt may depend on your physical shape.

ACCOMMODATIONS:
Accommodations for your Montana backcountry bear hunt include a well-equipped wall tent camp, featuring a dedicated cook tent, sleeping quarters, and a shower house for added comfort. All meals are prepared and provided by the outfitter. These hunts offer a perfect opportunity to unwind and experience the beauty of Montana’s most scenic wilderness areas.
