Description

This hunt takes place in central Alberta, one hour west of Edmonton, Alberta. This outfitter is offering great opportunities for bucks over 150”, and multiple deer harvested in the 170” to 200”+ class. They only take 14-16 deer hunters each season in an area that’s approximately 45 miles by 70 miles square. With deer populations on the rise and limited resident hunting pressure, the deer herd in this region is very strong. With an overall average quality that’s well above average, this area also has a reputation for big-bodied bucks with massive racks… and the pictures speak for themselves! The rifle season runs the full month of November, which also makes it a great experience all around to capitalize on the peak of the rut.

The area consists of 90% private land and only 10% public/government land. It’s a mixed terrain of boreal forests, farming & agriculture grounds, and river bottoms. Because of this abundance of food sources and cover, there is no telling what a hunter might see from one day to the next. Some of the largest bucks are taken in the transition zones between the aspen parklands and the boreal forest, but each year big bucks are also taken in the foothills and prairies, and clients will be able to hunt all of these areas. Clients will be hunting from stands, on foot (rattling/calling), from heated blinds, or from vehicles. All blinds are provided with heat for the cold November temps to make your hunt as comfortable as possible. These hunting methods have all been proven in the past, and have produced amazing results for years. The guides are very knowledgeable and experienced with the area. They have years of hunting whitetail deer under their belts, so you can follow their lead with no reservation. If hunting out of blinds or stands, your guide will drop you off and will continue to scout for bucks throughout the day.

The accommodations are awesome, and the home cooked meals are as good as they come. All whitetail hunts operate from the outfitters personal ranch which is centrally located in the hunting area. Clients will be staying in warm and comfortable hunting cabins built right on the family property for a very enjoyable stay all around. Single hunters, groups, and couples are all welcome.
