They recognize that a trip to Alaska is both a dream and a major investment, and they work tirelessly to ensure each moment is rewarding. Backed by more than a decade of experience transporting hunters and guiding anglers, their team is dedicated to crafting adventures that leave lasting memories and keep sportsmen returning year after year.

HUNT DETAILS:
Black Bear Hunt & Adventure Cruise – Whittier, Alaska

Guests can embark on a 6-day/5-night non-guided black bear hunt aboard a 98-foot pleasure craft, operating out of Whittier, Alaska. The transporter provides lodging, meals, and daily transport to hunting locations of the guests’ choice, including convenient beach drop-offs.

Along with black bear hunting, the trip offers opportunities for halibut and rockfish fishing, as well as shrimping.

Each adventure is limited to 6 hunters and 4 non-hunters. The cap on hunters is designed to minimize pressure on the bear population, reflecting the operator’s conservation-focused approach. Non-hunters are welcome to join excursions on the beaches and mountains or participate in the fishing activities.

Transporter vs. Guide:
Their Role During Your Hunt In Alaska, transporters and guides serve distinct roles in the outdoor industry, each with a unique set of responsibilities. A transporter's primary duty is to move hunters, their equipment, and harvested game from one location to another. They do not, however, provide assistance in hunting or tracking game. It's crucial to note that while a guide can actively participate in the hunt, a transporter is strictly prohibited from assisting in any activity directly related to the hunting process itself.

This means that they CANNOT assist with the following:
Guide you in the process of hunting- this means they cannot assist you with information on where to actively hunt.
Provide maps of any kind for targeting game- please research areas prior to booking.
Assist removal of your game from the field, other than by providing the transportation back to the vessel.
Assist in the skinning, de-boning, or butchering of your meat once on board.
Assist in the care of meat while on/off board, except to store onboard.
Provide ANY hunting equipment necessary to hunt, remove, or clean game- we do provide fishing gear and processing, as this is a guided experience.
