ABOUT OUTFITTER:
This HFA Endorsed Outfitter in the rugged Bighorn Crags of Idaho, specializes in high-quality bighorn sheep hunts within a 275-square-mile permitted area. They are the only licensed outfitter operating in this vast wilderness, authorized by the Idaho Outfitters and Guides Licensing Board, Idaho Fish and Game, and the Salmon-Challis National Forest. Hunts are conducted from six to seven remote wilderness camps during the fall season. In addition to sheep, they also pursue elk, deer, bear, mountain lion, predators, and upland game birds. All trips are fully guided and tailored to your needs, offering a true backcountry experience for serious hunters seeking adventure and trophy-class game.

HUNT DETAILS:
This endorsed outfitter, specializes in guided bighorn sheep hunts deep in the remote backcountry of Idaho’s backcountry—some of the most rugged and untouched sheep country in North America. Their hunts begin with horseback travel into remote base camps, followed by backpacking into high-country spike camps to access isolated basins and ridgelines where mature rams are found. This is true wilderness hunting, far from roads and pressure, within a 275-square-mile permitted area where they are the only licensed outfitter. For serious sheep hunters, this is a world-class opportunity in one of the most spectacular and challenging landscapes in the Lower 48.

ACCOMMODATIONS:
Hunts begin with horseback travel into fully outfitted wilderness base camps, complete with wall tents, wood stoves, hearty meals, and experienced staff. From there, they backpack into lightweight spike camps strategically located in prime sheep country. While base camps offer full amenities, meals in spike camps are typically freeze-dried and focused on efficiency to keep us light and mobile in the high country.

LICENSE INFORMATION:
