ABOUT OUTFITTER:
This HFA Endorsed Outfitter located in Northern British Columbia and offers hunts for 10 different species in 2000 square miles of lush mountain top views and beautiful woodland forest. They have a great team of guides and staff located at their main lodge in Fort Grahame along the shorelines of Williston Lake. If you are interested in hunting some of the most spectacular country in northern British Columbia then don't hesitate to book this hunt. This outfitter has proved that they will do whatever they can to ensure that you have the experience of a life time.

HUNT DETAILS:
Your hunt begins the morning after you arrive at Ft. Grahame. During a fall hunt, you're allowed to pursue one primary animal of your choice. If you're successful, you may choose to hunt a second primary animal; however, a trophy fee will apply upon success with the second. All fall hunters may also hunt black bear and wolf at no additional charge.

Goat hunts are considered a primary species and are typically conducted in September and early October. By late October, weather conditions can become severe, with steep, snow-covered slopes making goat terrain extremely hazardous. To accommodate different needs and preferences, they offer two types of goat hunts: horseback and backpack.

The horseback hunts provide access to remote areas that are otherwise extremely difficult to reach due to rugged terrain and river crossings. Horses not only allow entry into these remote zones but also offer the flexibility to relocate quickly if needed. The backpack hunts involve accessing goat country entirely on foot and remaining in the high country without the need to care for horses.

Regardless of the method, goat hunting is physically demanding, and all hunters should be in excellent physical condition. They make a strong effort to harvest only mature billies, with most goats taken measuring over 9 inches. Their largest to date scored an impressive 53 ½”.

ACCOMMODATIONS:
Most hunts are conducted from either a wall tent camp or a remote spike camp using backpack tents. The wall tents come equipped with a wood-burning heater and a propane stove for cooking. The outfitter provides comfortable cots, but you’ll need to bring your own warm sleeping bag and a Therm-a-Rest.

LICENSE INFORMATION:
License can be purchased over the counter and is the client's responsibility. You will need to coordinate with HFA or your outfitter prior to purchasing to ensure you purchase the required tag and licenses.
