Description

ABOUT OUTFITTER:
This HFA Endorsed Outfitter operates two high country hunting camps in the Bridger Teton National Forest of western Wyoming. Their remote pack-in and drive-to camps are situated in some of the most beautiful, rugged, and animal rich areas of the Wyoming Range. They offer fully outfitted and guided horseback hunts for Mule Deer, Elk, Moose, Bighorn Sheep, Black Bear and Mountain Lion. All of their hunting is done on horses and mules deep in the heart of the finest hunting areas that the west has to offer. You and your guide will be traveling the high mountain valleys and skylines at 8,000 to 10,000 feet in search of your trophy.

HUNT DETAILS:
Whether you prefer a rifle or a bow, your elk hunt with this HFA Endorsed Outfitter will be one that dreams are made of. Their area holds large herds of elk with plenty of big bulls. The archery hunts are the second and third week of September, timed with the peak of the rut. They have two different rifle elk openers in their areas. The September 26 opener offers the rare opportunity to hunt bugling bulls with a rifle, and the October 15 opener offers less bugling, but large groups of elk begin bunching up in preparation for their migration out of the high country. With a little snow on the ground, and crisp fall temperatures, it makes a picture perfect scenario for your chance at great bull elk. All hunts take place in comfortable wall tent style camps. One camp is a remote drive to camp and the other is roughly a 2hr horseback ride in. Horses will be used with either option to access the hunting area daily.

ACCOMMODATIONS:
These wall tent camps are packed in and ready for you well before your arrival. Each camp consists of a dining tent, sleeping tents, tack/supply tent and even a shower tent. Yep, you can have a hot shower each night after your long day on the mountain. Both camps have a full-time cook preparing big western style meals to keep you fueled up. If you are looking for a top notch big game hunting experience, you’ve ended up at the right place. This outfit will strive to make your dream hunt exactly like you’ve imagined it.
