ABOUT OUTFITTER:
This HFA Endorsed Outfitter is a small, owner-operated outfitter in Eastern Colorado. With a passion for the outdoors, they began guiding at 19 and have since worked with multiple outfitters in Nebraska, Colorado, New Zealand, and Texas, chasing trophy big game. Their outfitting business was founded from his love for hunting and a dream to share quality hunts with others. Focusing on the largest, most mature game, they limit the number of hunters each year to ensure a premium experience.
HUNT DETAILS:
This Antelope hunt takes place in Eastern Colorado's dry farm and sandhill areas, primarily over water sources where Antelope frequent. Patience is essential, as hunters spend time in blinds waiting for opportunities, however in cases of rain, spot-and-stalk hunting may be used. The hunt is focused on archery, which is challenging but rewarding, with average bucks ranging from 60-70 inches and some reaching up to 80 inches. The hunt is limited to a few hunters per year on thousands of acres of private land, with experienced guides dedicated to providing the best possible opportunity for success.
ACCOMMODATIONS:
Accommodations are comfortable and cozy, though you won’t spend much time in camp. You’ll stay in a clean, well-maintained farmhouse. Meals include a mix of home-cooked favorites and dining at local restaurants. Breakfast typically features a hearty burrito or breakfast sandwich, while lunch consists of sandwiches or a visit to a nearby restaurant.
LICENSE INFORMATION:
Colorado uses a preference point system for drawing licenses in limited units. Each unit and season require a different number of preference points to draw a license with some areas having OTC tags. Historically this tag has been easy to draw. Huntin' Fool License Application Service will help you apply at the time of application.
