ABOUT OUTFITTER:
This HFA Endorsed, family-owned and operated outfitter has been providing high-quality hunts since 2013. With exclusive access to thousands of acres of private land in both the mountains and Eastern Plains of Colorado, as well as experience across several states—from Kansas CRP fields to the rugged Western ranges—they bring generations of ranching and hunting expertise to every adventure.
The family continues to manage their working cattle ranch while offering world-class trophy hunts. They specialize in big game hunts for Elk, Mule Deer, Pronghorn, Black Bear, Mountain Lion, Bighorn Sheep, and Merriam’s Turkey, providing diverse opportunities across varying terrain and hunting styles. Whether it’s stalking bugling bull elk in the rut, glassing for high-country mule deer, or tracking a mountain lion through deep snow, every hunt is tailored to deliver a memorable and successful experience.
They proudly accommodate hunters of all ages, abilities, and experience levels, offering both over-the-counter hunts and access to draw hunts requiring 0–12+ points. For those who don’t draw, landowner vouchers are available for many hunts, ensuring dream hunts remain within reach.
Their mission is simple: to offer high-success, professionally guided hunts while creating lasting memories in some of Colorado’s most scenic and productive hunting areas.
HUNT DETAILS:
Pursuing mature mountain bucks has always been a core passion for this outfitter. From the beginning, Mule Deer have remained the primary focus. These Mountain Mule Deer hunts take place across three distinct locations, ranging from rugged high country terrain at 10,000 feet to the rolling pinyon and cedar-covered hills at 7,500 feet.
The outfitter's hunting philosophy is simple: "Use your eyes, save your legs"—a principle they follow closely. This is a true spot-and-stalk style hunt, offering a relaxed pace and is considered easy to moderate in difficulty. On average, hunters can expect to pursue or harvest bucks in the 165–180 class, with one or two exceeding that range each season.
This hunt is also available as a combo option on a trophy-fee basis. Hunters may add an elk to any Mule Deer hunt by purchasing an over-the-counter (OTC) elk tag. If an elk is harvested, an additional fee of $5,000 is due at the end of the hunt.
ACCOMMODATIONS:
Hunters stay in comfortable lodges where they enjoy home-cooked meals and all the comforts of home. All Mule Deer hunts are guided one-on-one, and camp sizes are strictly limited to no more than two hunters at a time. The outfitter strives for a consistent quality and the only way to do so is limit the camp and hunter numbers.
LICENSE INFORMATION:
Colorado uses a preference point system for drawing licenses in limited units. Each unit and season require a different number of preference points to draw a license with some areas having OTC tags. Huntin' Fool License Application Service will help you apply at the time of application.
