HUNT DETAILS:
Pursue one of North America’s most elusive predators on a trophy mountain lion hunt across the vast and varied terrain of Colorado. With permits in 26 game management units, this outfitter offers unparalleled flexibility and access to some of the best lion country in the state—allowing your guide team to adapt quickly to weather and snow conditions to put you in the best possible position for success.

These are high-success, fair chase hunts with a strong emphasis on dry ground lion hunting—over 60% of hunts take place without relying on snow, showcasing the skill and dedication of the houndsmen and their exceptional dogs. Whether you're after a true dry ground experience or waiting for a fresh snow tracking opportunity, this hunt delivers.

Your chase begins at daybreak with experienced guides cutting tracks and casting hounds in remote country. Once a fresh track is located, you’ll be part of the action as the hounds do what they do best—treeing a mature tom lion in some of the most rugged and scenic landscapes in Colorado. Most lions harvested weigh between 140 and 160 pounds, with the focus on mature toms only.

This hunt is for the serious predator hunter ready to test their grit against one of the West’s most iconic animals.

ACCOMMODATIONS:
Depending on the unit and conditions, accommodations range from a comfortable ranch house to mobile basecamps or motels—always clean, warm, and close to the action. Hearty meals and a welcoming atmosphere await at day’s end, offering a chance to relax and relive the chase.

LICENSE INFORMATION:
Mountain lion tags in Colorado are available over the counter. Hunters must also complete a mandatory online Mountain Lion Education Course through Colorado Parks and Wildlife prior to hunting. Our team can assist you with the simple process to ensure you're fully prepared and licensed before your hunt begins.
