ABOUT OUTFITTER:
This HFA Endorsed Outfitter is a top choice for serious hunters who value hard work and dedication in the field. Their hunts can be physically demanding, and they expect the same level of commitment from their clients. Being in good physical condition greatly increases your chances of success, and they’re ready to go the extra mile to help you harvest your animal.
Each hunt is treated as a true adventure. Understanding that this could be the hunt of a lifetime, this outfitter is committed to making your experience both successful and memorable.
HUNT DETAILS:
This HFA-endorsed outfitter offers Colorado DIY (Do-It-Yourself) hunts—an excellent alternative to fully guided experiences. You'll have access to several remote camp locations, which may require transportation by horse or ATV, depending on your health, age, or the type of hunt. The outfitter sets up your camp and transports you and your group (minimum of three hunters) to the site for a five-day hunt. Extended hunts can also be arranged.
A DIY hunt is a great way for those to be introduced into big game hunting in Colorado. While it may not be a full experience of a guided hunt, you still are able to see what we have to offer. Many clients will book a Colorado DIY hunt and gradually move into a fully guided hunt there after.
ACCOMMODATIONS:
Camps are equipped with tents, cooking gear, and a shower upon request. You’ll bring your own food and hunting gear, while the outfitter provides local insight and tips on promising hunting areas near your camp.
LICENSE INFORMATION:
Colorado uses a preference point system for drawing licenses in limited units. Each unit and season require a different number of preference points to draw a license with some areas having OTC tags. Huntin' Fool License Application Service will help you apply at the time of application.
