Central Wyoming Hound Hunting for Mountain Lions

This HFA Endorsed Outfitter has been in operation for over 30 years as a big game hunting outfitter, offering hunts for Mule Deer, Elk, Antelope, Shiras Moose, and Mountain Lion. They also offer do-it-yourself/drop camp hunts for the individual or group hunting either elk, deer, or antelope.

HUNT DETAILS:
When it comes to hunting Mountain Lion hunting, they have been personally hunting them for over 12 years in Wyoming, as well as the neighboring states including Montana and Colorado. This hunt is performed with the use of Mountain Lion hounds. Mountain lions are one of the most elusive animals in North America. Without the use of hounds, many hunters would go their entire lives without seeing one. This outfitter has amazing hounds that are trained, and that have seen/treed countless lions. You will be hunting behind seasoned veterans that knows what it takes to produce results.

All hunts will occur during the months of late October through the first part of April each year. They choose these months due to the consistency of the elements, snow being the main driving element to produce the best results. If snow fall is consistent and fresh, treeing 1 and even up to 3 lions in a given day is a real possibility, as has been proven multiple times in the past. Hunts can be arranged on an "on-call basis", meaning they can be scheduled with the outfitter according to upcoming weather forecasts. You can plan to arrive after the storm has passed to hunt with fresh snow. Otherwise, you can also book a standard 5-day hunt during the winter months with snow on the ground. You can't go wrong with either option.

ACCOMMODATIONS:
This hunt occurs in and around Casper, Wyoming. All of the hunting will take place within 90 miles of the city, and the lodging is based out of local hotels.

Tags are acquired over-the-counter and can be purchased before the hunt or upon arrival.
